At least, most of my real work is done with development tools we install ourselves and our e-mail is accessible through the web so 95% of the time I will only need the SP4 to do my job. My best guess is that because Im using the 32 bit versions, not blessed with the pdf. Though on their part, they could of made an obvious working download link somewhere. Was thinking it weird the online version was at 1.2, so wondering where was the 1.2 pdf. The trick of giving negative icon positions does not seem to work any more. Hiding the Computer and Bin icons - assign empty captions to these objects, and they will not appear the next time you run Calmira. Even now I will still have to deal with a work laptop unless I can convince them to let my SP4 have VPN access and if they load one productivity tool we use for these internet enabled desk phones they gave me. EmEditor is a fast, lightweight, yet extensible, easy-to-use text editor for Windows. At the moment, dont know why I didnt see the 1.2 pdf. a 16-bit one, and there are no plans for a 32-bit version.
Until SP4 (we almost crossed the threshold with SP3) there was not a satisfactory device that had a tablet form factor plus easy access to laptop/desktop form factor, was pen enabled with enough quality and speed to actually make it great, got the ports right enough that I can do my job, and was sufficiently high powered (in all 4 areas: CPU, GPU, RAM, and disk storage) for all my computer needs so that it could be my one-and-only computing device except for a Xbox One for gaming and a phone for phoning and maybe a little connecting when WiFi isn't around.īefore SP4, for my personal use, I would of had to have a laptop (or desktop), too, if I was to own a tablet.
